On a dark and cold winters night we visited Hula Juice Bar The time 5:30pm. The cafe closed. Customers all gone.
Working late into the night, hand in hand with business owner, Susan Doherty, we minimised disruption to the business. Allowing the team to focus on creating great images that defined the product of a business that had been a firm favourite in Edinburgh for 5 years.
The following day we edited the food photographs, discussed with the owner and finally delivered over 70 photographs to fantastic feedback:

Hula’s website was published in May. A far cry form a cold winters evening. In the interim, we (Hula and I ) Have moved on. Both exceptionally busy and growing our businesses.
Hula had a refit, an enormous investment. It looks gorgeous. I know that, having the product photographs done before the refit, inspired Susan.
Yes we didn’t photograph the interior but experience and understanding ensures that is a simple process for us to complete now that everything is settling down.
Trust from my community is very important. The physical effort of bringing in a creative is time consuming and costly. Time diverted from the businesses core activity doesn’t generate any revenue in it’s self and there’s also financial costs.
Our reputation is built upon the fact that we appreciate this and work hard to deliver 110 percent. Ensuring only positive recommendations which ensure our business grows on trust.
