I was recently asked if I was able to photograph this family against a white background. Their current collection of photographs was needing updated and they particularly liked being photographed in a studio setting.

A photography assignment of this type is well within my skill set but not something I would normally agree to. I was pleased to take up the challenge, we used the families home for this shoot, there was more space there for a large group to be creative, energetic and as imaginative as these guys were.

It was a great day and I am exceptionally proud of this selection from the photography session.

I was recently asked to photograph this lovely family at their home as well as around St Andrews.

During the shoot, I covered many areas which were intensely personal to them including the spaces they lived and shared their time together.

We are launching the Strathkinness Summer Special at Strathkinness Primary School Sports Day tommorow (30th of June 2010). It’s summer and the weather has been glorious. With the Schools finishing this weekend it’s the ideal time to book a family portrait session. To help out with costs we are offering residents of Strathkinness a complementary lifestyle photography session.

We are comfortable photographing toddlers to teenagers, mums and dads too. It all takes an hour or two; you can change clothes – if you would like something formal and then a bit more laid back. We like to start where you live, some photographs around the house and then to the beach or the woods, wherever you like really.

Dundee City Quay is a fantastic place to have a fun portrait session. There are so many opportunity for fantastic photographs. It was a real treat to work with Rachel and her Mum, capturing these photographs of them together.
